As America’s largest employer, Walmart knows we don’t just touch the lives of the over 2 million employees who work there, but the people around them as well. In this campaign we wanted to thank our incredible associates for their impact, and who better to do it than their loved ones.

At the heart of the campaign was a heartfelt letter, written by me on behalf of the advocates after listening to their stories. Crafting these letters was personally one of the most challenging and rewarding projects I’ve ever worked on. From finding the right associates to helping deliver the perfect message, the key was authenticity. There were plenty of hugs and tears and hardly a dry eye behind the camera as well when we captured these.
